Across The Big Pond

Our journey across the big pond started over a week ago, as we began our 4 day seminar in Skipton, England on the message of “Overcoming” and “The Fear of the Lord.” Christ Harvest church is an old friend of ours, and God has knit the pastors hearts with ours. How precious it is when brethren dwell together in unity. We have seen the growth of the church over the past years; both in the natural and growth in the spiritual. Rene delivered a special message to about 40 women on a Sat. morning, and Bro. John did the same with the men. We look forward to our next time together with them. Darlene, our daughter, did the worship and praise for this seminar, and the anointing was awesome. Thank you Lord! Our Son Rise Teaching course on “The Dynamics of Living Faith” is held here in Southport, England under the direction of the Walters, who have been overseeing the course for over a year. This course is being offered on the internet, and still available to those who are interested. The home meetings in Southport at the Walters were very responsive. The Lord is paving the way in hearts as many responded to Him.

As we have taught many times, the two pillars of the church are Faith and Grace. We have found over the years the lack of understanding on these “pillars”. Believers have stayed in the same position in Christ, not understanding the onward growth process that must take place to come into maturity. There is a way to Holiness, and it is narrow and the gate is straight. The call from the Lord has always been to come up higher, but the lack of understanding is the “how to.” We have much ground to cover on this journey, and will up-date you as we continue on.

We had a wonderful Saturday, the 21st, attending the Irish wedding of Evelyn and Jimmy Buchanan. It was an all day affair with many attending this great event at a hotel overlooking the Foyle River. Darlene had a large part in the music; also singing a solo of the wedding song she wrote, to the happy couple. John and I blessed them in the ceremony as we tied their wrists together with a sheer cloth; forever to serve the Lord as one. Our ministry here in Northern Ireland is all ready depositing in the hearts of the people the “Glory of God”. The rainy winds are blowing up a gale here in Northern Ireland. We perceive it as the Holy Spirit blowing with power, might and restoration.
