CATCHING UP - BATON ROUGE
February 2011
At the end of February, we had a week of a wonderful time of ministry. Our precious friends, whom we have known for years, were in many of the meetings. The Lord moved in messages of unforgiveness, faith, the value of the kingdom message; what it means to be a spiritual man; the pearl of great price and many more. Deposits of the kingdom were made. The prophetic moved mightily, and we saw the Word of God spoken into the hearts of His people with accuracy which was overwhelming. Only the Lord can know the hidden things of the heart. The two particular meetings with Pastor Ricky Sinclair’s Miracle Place Church group, those coming out of prison and on the road to rehabilitating were awesome. I, Rene said to them at the beginning, “How many of you have been in prison? Don’t raise your hands.” Then I told them I had been there too. In Honduras years ago, I preached in their prisons and stood before walls with bullet holes in them, and told prisoners about the goodness of Jesus. They had no food to eat except what their families brought in each day. What a place to be. Then I asked the same crowd in Baker, “How many of you had been arrested? Don’t raise your hands.” I told them I almost had too, in Nicaragua years ago; preaching all over the city. The communists stationed a guard at the front of our house where we were staying to arrest us when we came out. The Lord intervened and an angel of the Lord took us past the guard who did not see us, and on we went to safety. We now had Pastor Sinclair’s people’s attention; they received openly from Bro. John and his message of “Faith in the Truth or a Lie.” The Word of knowledge from Rene went on for hours. These folks were so hungry to hear what God had for them personally. Bless them Lord that they who received will grow in grace and truth. And bless all of those that came to the meetings and opened up their homes for teachings and our hosts for that whole week, Peter and Susan Dejohn.
Coming up next week– Camino de Nuevo Church – Lawrenceville, Ga. Seminar on the Kingdom.
